About
Aims and objectives of the Freehold Community Men’s Shed
The Freehold Community Men's Shed is open on Mondays and Tuesdays between 10.30am and 3.30pm and the primary focus of the Shed will be to provide a place where men can meet to socialise and share their experiences and skills with each other. Any activities will be based on what members want to do, but with the purpose of supporting each other, the work of the Freehold Community Association and the community at large.
Using members interests, skills and enthusiasm the Shed will support the Reclaiming, Reviving and Recycling of skills, materials and items for the benefit of the Shed, the Freehold Community Centre and the wider community. The Shed and it’s members will support the UK Men’s Shed Association and it’s work to promote the Men’s Shed Movement throughout the UK.
Organisation
The Freehold Community Men’s Shed is a community project promoted and sponsored by the Freehold Community Association, a registered charity, and the administration of the Shed will be carried out by the Trustees of the Association under it’s constitution.
